The Holy Rosary Prayers
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I believe in God, the Father almighty creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Oh My Jesus
Oh my Jesus, forgive us of our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls into heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy. Amen.
Hail Holy Queen
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail our Life, our Sweetness, and our hope. To your do we cry out, poor banished children of Eve. To you we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate, Your eyes of mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show unto us, the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us Oh Holy Mother of God, That we may become worthy of the promise of Christ. Amen.
Oh God, by the life, death and resurrection of your only begotten son you purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech you, that while meditating upon the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Our Lady of Guadalupe, mystical rose, make intercession for the Holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke thee in their necessities, and since thou art the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of God, obtain for us from thy most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, burning charity, and the precious gift of final perseverance. Amen.
Another for the Virgin of Guadalupe
Oh Virgin of Guadalupe, mystical rose, Mother of the Americas, grant to our hearts the grace of loving and respecting life from its beginning, with the same love in which you conceived our Lord Jesus Christ. Oh Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of angels, Queen of Heaven and Earth, God-bearer, protect our families so that they may always be united and bless the upbringing of our children.
Dear mother, we love you. We thank you for your promise to help us in our needs. We trust in your love that dries our tears and comforts our souls. Teach us to find our peace in your son, Jesus, and bless us every day of our lives. Help us build a shrine in our hearts. Make it as beautiful as the one built for you on the mount of Tepeyac. A shrine full of trust, hope, and love for Jesus growing stronger every day. Mary, you have chosen to remain with us by giving us your most wonderful and holy self-image on St. Juan Diego's cloak. May we feel your loving presence as we look upon your face. Like St. Juan Diego, give us the courage to bring your message of hope to everyone.
We beg you to grant us a love of all the Holy Sacraments, which are, as it were, the signs that your Son left us on earth. Thus, Most Holy Mother, with the peace of God in our consciences, with our hearts free from evil and hatred, we will be able to bring to all others true joy and true peace, which come to us from your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to wash away the sin of the world.
You are our mother and our inspiration. Hear our prayers and answer us. Amen.
Our Lady of Regla
Oh, Holy, Sweet Virgin Mary, Mother of God, daughter of the Supreme King, Lady of Angels, Mother of the Supreme Creator, Queen of all mercy and immense pity. As in the days of old when anyone in time of need or devotion went to your shrines, you showed your love and power in many ways. Sailors in great storms invoke you as Our Lady of Regla, and thereby free themselves of fear and the perils of sea. In dangerous voyages offerings are made at your sanctuary in Regla, so that desired ports are reached. Those being sought by their enemies are also saved through your image. The sick find themselves before your holy image and are healed by you. All limbs that are broken or weak, gain back their natural strength. Bring health and strength to those who seek to be worthy of you. Dear Lady we have faith through your intercession that we receive what we ask for in prayer. Although we know that, because of our faults, we do not deserve what we ask for, we beg you nevertheless to answer our prayers. Amen.
Our Lady Star of the Sea
Mary, Star of the Sea, light of every ocean, guide seafarers across all dark and stormy seas that they may reach the haven of peace and light prepared in Him who calmed the sea. As we set forth upon the oceans of the world and cross the deserts of our time, show us, 0h Mary, the fruit of your womb, for without your Son we are lost. Pray that we never fail on life's journey, that in heart and mind, word and deed, in days of turmoil and days of calm, we will always look to Christ and say, “Who is this that even wind and sea obey him?” Our Lady of Peace, pray for us! Bright Star of the Sea, guide us! Our Lady, Star of the Sea, pray for seafarers, pray for us. Amen.
Our Lady of Charity
Oh Holy Virgin and Lady of Charity! With happiness and humility I come to your feet. Virgin of miracles you cure the sick, you give hope where there is despair, you give strength to the afflicted, preserve from disgrace our families, protect the youth, guard our children. No one can explain all the miracles and fortitude you give to the souls that come to you. We your children thank you for all your graces. Amen.
Our Lady of Mercy
Blessed Virgin Mary, who can worthily repay you with praise and thanks for having rescued a fallen world by your generous consent! Receive our gratitude, and by your prayers obtain the pardon of our sins. Take our prayers into the sanctuary of heaven and enable them to make our peace with God. Holy Mary, help the miserable, strengthen the discouraged, comfort the sorrowful, pray for your people, plead for the clergy, intercede for all women consecrated to God. May all who venerate you feel now your help and protection. Be ready to help us when we pray, and bring back to us the answers to our prayers. Make it your continual concern to pray for the people of God, for you were blessed by God and were made worthy to bear the Redeemer of the world, who lives and reigns forever. Amen.
Our Lady of Sorrows
Mary Most Holy, Mother of Sorrows, by that intense martyrdom which thou did suffer at the foot of the Cross, during the three hours of Jesus' agony, deign to aid us all, children of thy sorrows, in our last agony, that by thy prayers, we from our bed of death may pass to Heaven's holy joys, there to adorn thy crown.
Queen of Martyrs, pray for us!
Queen of all Saints, pray for us!
Dedication of Oneself to Mary
Most Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God, I am not worthy to be thy servant. But moved by thy marvelous compassion and my own desire to serve thee, here and now, in the presence of my guardian angel and the whole court of Heaven, I choose thee as my Lady, Advocate, and Mother. I firmly purpose to love and serve thee always, and to do all I can to inspire others to love and serve thee. O Mother of God and my own most compassionate Mother, I beseech thee, by the Blood which thy Son shed for me, to receive me into the number of thy servants as thy child and servant forever.
Assist me in all my thoughts, words, and actions in every moment of my life, so that every step I take, every breath I draw, may be directed to the greater glory of my God. Through your powerful intercession, may I never again offend my beloved Jesus. Help me to love and glorify Him in this life. Help me to love thee also, dear and beloved Mother, and to go on loving thee forever in the happiness of Heaven. My Mother Mary, I commend my soul to thee now, and especially at the moment of death. Amen.

Prayer to God the Father
Almighty God, my Eternal Father, from the deepest part of my soul I adore you. I am deeply grateful that you have made me in your image and likeness and that you hold me in your loving embrace. Direct me to love you with all my heart, all my soul, and all my strength. Direct me to love all of your children as I love myself. Oh my Father, my soul longs to be united to you, and to rest in you forever. Have the Holy Spirit touch my soul so that I may love you as he does, and as your beloved son our Lord Jesus does. Amen.
Prayers for Jesus Christ
Divine Child Jesus we believe in you, we adore you, and we love you. Have mercy on us sinners. We have come to this temple in response to your love. We have come in response to your mercy and grace. We are here because you invited us to come before you and pour out our hearts since you deeply care for each of us.
We remember your words to the disciples; Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened. Trusting in your infinite goodness and trusting that you always keep your promise, we now ask this intention which we pray in the silence of our hearts. (make your request) Thank you, Divine Child Jesus, for listening attentively to our prayers. We hope that you will ask this before your Heavenly Father. And, if what we ask for may not be good for our salvation and sanctification, we trust that you will grant us instead what we truly need, so that one day we may be with you for all eternity enjoying ultimate happiness in heaven.
Divine Child Jesus, bless and protect us.
Divine Child Jesus, bless and lead us.
Divine Child Jesus, bless and provide for us.
All this we ask through the intercession of your Holy Mother Mary, and in your powerful and most Holy Name Jesus. Amen.
Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, born of the Virgin Mary, who did suffer so much in Thy Passion out of love for us, we remember this extreme suffering when Pilate abandoned Thee to the infuriated crowd, saying: "Ecce Homo: Behold the Man you are demanding to have crucified. I wash my hands of this."
Lord Jesus, thou, the Man of Sorrows, the only consolation thou were given then was seeing, in the midst of this crowd, Thy Most Holy Mother, looking at thee with love, her eyes filled with tears because she compassionated with thy sufferings, both from the heart and from the body.
Ecce Homo, thou truly art the Man of Sorrows foretold by the prophets, who did come to save the world by shedding thy most precious blood. Jesus, we love thee for those who do not love thee and we adore thee for those who refuse to adore thee. In the name of thy sorrowful Passion and the sufferings of thy Most Holy Mother, we beseech thee to grant us the grace that we currently need on this day. Amen.

In the stillness and silence as deep as the night, may my soul be before you, oh Holy Spirit. Radiate down upon me softer than starlight, close around me, closer than the darkness. Refresh me and renew me as dew falls and rainfall renews the earth. Stay with me oh Holy Spirit until the morning comes. And at the dawning of the new day be an even brighter sunburst in my soul.
Comfort from the Holy Spirit
Oh Holy Spirit be with me now and always, also in my doubts, anxieties, and trials. Come Holy Spirit in the hours of loneliness, weariness and grief. Come Holy Spirit in failure, in loss, and in disappointment. Come Holy Spirit when others fail me and when I fail myself. Come Holy Spirit when I’m ill, unable to work, and depressed. Most glorious father of ours and prophet of God, Elijah great keeper of the Lords honor and founder of the order of Mary of mount Carmel. From the summit of which you saw her in prophetic vision. In that small cloud that arose from the sea, without her showing her great pains, and then she went up at holy mountain, descending upon it in the copious range that flooded the narrow countryside of Israel. Symbol of Mary’s graces, which with her holy scapula she would bless the entire club. Oh holy father of mine, Elijah, make me follow your example by dedicating my life to share who is her mother and her comforter. Make me able to walk the desert of life without fainting had only by the holy Eucharist, just as you survived said only by Ash like bread during your flight to Mount Horeb escaping the evil Jezebel. Teach me how to escape deceit from the world and the wiles of the devil so that imitating your zeal for the glory of God, I may find myself standing by you someday, singing God's praises and those of his holy mother, who I want to see and love for all eternity let it be self.
The Three Kings

For that sweetness you felt towards him, when you went to seek him, and for the joy you felt when you found him and offered him your gifts, that you advise me regarding that which I ask. Inasmuch as God hears you and accepted your gifts. True God as you accepted their gifts may you accept today my prayer on account of their love, and as the star appeared to them in the east which led them to you in the place they had so greatly desired, so to Lord God, you filled my desire for gladness and joy. Grant me that I may have and behold what my heart desires, for the praise of God and my lady Saint Mary. Amen.

For the Natural World
St. Francis Canticle of All Creatures
Most High, all-powerful, all-good Lord, all praise is yours, all glory, all honour and all blessings. To you alone, Most High, do they belong, and no mortal lips are worthy to pronounce your name.
Praised be you my Lord with all your creatures, especially Sir Brother Sun, who is the day through whom you give us light. And he is beautiful and radiant with great splendour, of you Most High, he bears the likeness.
Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Moon and the Stars, In the heavens you have made them bright, precious, and fair.
Praised be you, my Lord, through Brothers Wind and Air. And fair and stormy, all weather’s moods, by which you cherish all that you have made.
Praised be you my Lord through Sister Water, so useful, humble, precious, and pure.
Praised be you my Lord through Brother Fire through whom you light the night and he is beautiful, playful, robust, and strong.
Praised be you my Lord through our Sister, Mother Earth, who sustains and governs us producing varied fruits with coloured flowers and herbs.
Praise be you my Lord through those who grant pardon for the love of you. And bear sickness and trial. Blessed are those who endure in peace. By you Most High they will be crowned.
Praised be you my Lord through Sister Death from whom no-one living can escape. Woe to those who die in mortal sin! Blessed are they she finds doing your will. No second death can harm them.
Praise and bless my Lord. Give Him thanks, and serve him with great humility. Heavenly Father, you gave Your servant Francis great love for each of your creatures. Teach us to see Your design in all of creation. We ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.
To Protect Your Home
Through God's grace, and the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, let my prayer be perpetual, and let it be answered in accordance with his will. Protect my home from evil. I pray thee, oh Lord, that it be a safe place in which to bring my friends and family. Let there be no foul spirits here, nor let dangerous entities enter this place. Let me always reside here in peace, love, and in harmony. I pray this in the name of Jesus, who came to wash away the sins of the world. Amen.
When Leaving Your Home
Today as I rise and tend to my day that I have received from the LORD, when I leave my home and set forth on my journey may Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, The Three Kings, Jasper, Melchior, and Balthazar be my travel companions. The heavens are my hat and the earth are my shoes. The Holy Trinity above me. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in front of me. The Three Kings beside me. And the Four Evangelists behind me for all time. Lead me to eternal happiness. Pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy. Oh divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, yo be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
Prayers for Suffering Spirits
Blessed Souls of Purgatory
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Prayer of St. Gertrude the Great
Eternal Father, I offer you the most precious blood of your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for all sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
Blessed Souls of Purgatory
Divine glorifier of souls, at the end of your passion hanging on the cross of torments, ready to die and in agony, you forced the last seven words, "In thy hands I commend my spirit." You then died and later manifested yourself in the bosom of Abraham in order to glorify with your divine presence the blessed souls for the pain of the pains that penetrated the heart of your Sovereign Mother when she saw the light in your eyes dimat the hour of your demise. I commend to you, oh Lord, the Blessed Souls, so that when the pains, torments, and penuries of purgatory are over, your divine hands will receive them in order to glorify them in heaven. And those who so often have tried to take your life their faults, make it, most merciful Lord, that they truly repent at the hour of their deaths so they may say "In your hands I commend my spirit." And may I, my Lord, obtain what I ask for in this prayer if it be for your greater honor and the glorifying of my soul. Amen.
Prayer for a Repentant Spirit
God of mercy, you who accepts the sincere repentance of sinners, be them incarnate or not, here in front of you is a spirit that enjoyed doing bad deeds, but is now repentant and wanting to do the right thing. Please do receive him, oh Lord, as a prodigal son and forgive him. Good spirits you’ve never heard his voice before, but now count him among your number, let him see the joy of those who are blessed by God so he may strive to go after this joy. Sustain him and his efforts to resist the attraction of evil, and continue to reinforce his desire to be part of the world of good. Repentant spirit I congratulate you on your conversion and I give praise to the spirits who helped you reach this point. Amen.
"And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" - Acts 2:17
